Juan Miguel Gonzalez who is widely recognized as one of the great flamenco guitar makers living today. Born in Almeria in 1947, he was taught by his father Miguel Gonzalez Abad (1906-1989), who in turn had apprenticed with the Moya brothers (who were close friends with Antonio Torres). Juan Miguel's guitars have a special duende professional flamenco players seek and love. To name but a few of his clients: Tomatito, Norberto Torres, Monolo Franco, Carlos Piñana, and El Niño de la Manola. This flamenco guitar is his top level model. I could wax lyrical about this guitar, its perfect flamenco set up, about the level craftsmanship, but it can be summed up in a word-- WOW!

Note what appears in the photos to be the tap plate pealing off, is in actuality a cling-on wrapper to protect it from being scratched.
