Antonio Raya Pardo (1950-2022) trained briefly under Eduardo Ferrer before continuing his apprenticeship with José López Bellido. He also benefited from the guidance of Antonio Marín Montero, a master of the Granada School. Raya Pardo opened his own workshop in 1972 and has since built a reputation for creating guitars that embody the best qualities of the Granada School—powerful, responsive, easy to play, and capable of exceptional projection.
His craftsmanship has earned him a place on Summerfield's list of the finest classical guitar makers since 1800. Additionally, Luis F. Leal Pinar dedicated an entire chapter to his work in Guitarreros de Andalucía (2004), underscoring his significance among Spanish luthiers.
This guitar is an extraordinary find, in near-perfect condition. At this price, it won’t be available for long!
