Juan Miguel Gonzalez was born in Almeria in 1947, and is widely recognized as one of the great flamenco guitar makers living today. He began making guitar in 1960, apprenticing with his father, Miguel Gonzalez Abad (1906-1989), known as "El Cojo." His guitars have a special duende professional flamenco players seek and love. To name but a few of his clients: Tomatito, Norberto Torres, Monolo Franco, Carlos Piñana, and El Niño de la Manola. This guitar is in near perfect condition, apart from some tiny scratches. It is set up comfortably, but there is sufficient bone showing above the bridge to allow the action to be lowered even further should one so desire. A hardcase is included in the price.
